Warner Bros. Gets a Go on Midway
Get The Latest Games and Gear at GoGamer.com
A while back I announced that Midway Games were working on allowing Warner Bros. to buy the business out along with its assets. The $33 Million dollar deal will be official and closed in 10 days starting today. It seems like Warner Bros. was the only business that bidded on Midways buyout back in May 2009. That is actually pretty surprising, considering some of Midways past profits and top rated games. Many Midway employees have been given their 60-day notice. All of Midway Studios must find new owners and get things back in order. Since Midway is being bought out, their are still some franchises available for the top bidder, some franchises include: Blitz and NBA Ballers.
