Big Numbers from Sony

Sony has recently shared there numbers with GameInformer, and apparently the Holiday season of 2009 was a success, and now Sony has delivered 33.5 Million PlayStation 3’s to its gamers worldwide! This spike in my opinion is due to the excellent choice of decreasing the price almost into the Holiday Season. That not only increased the “Want” for a PlayStation 3, but also convincing to parents who’s kids have been slipping PlayStation 3 ads in personal belongings of their parents, just to it for them. So you get the idea of how great the Holiday Season was for Sony? I don’t think so! Sony not only was successful in selling 33.5 million PlayStation 3’s, but they were also successful in selling right around 47.6 million games! If  Sony continues this amount of success all year, you could see them slowly but surely move in on Microsoft (Which seems to be the goal right now)
